The bottom left corner shows the West bank of the Rhine opposite REES. As the goal of Operation Veritable was to push to the Rhine, this portion of the map features a section of the 'finish line'. Therefore, whilst this map was clearly produced for Veritable, it has great relevance to Plunder and the advance that followed.
