WW2 Original British Steel Helmet w/Liner Dated 1940. An original WW2 British steel helmet in army green/brown. This has 2 holes to the rim which means that it is of lesser grade steel to the usual combat helmet. Although most were issued combat grade helmets others did have lesser grade shells. The shell has a very nice rough textured finish to it. The inside is again nice. It is missing its chinstrap. The liner is a good size 7 1/4 and dated 1940. It is a little worn but good and strong. No markings on the shell but the paint is quite thick and rough. See Images.
