RNSC(6)16 50th ann of Victory in the Far East 2 Sep 1945 WW2 Naval FDC. While he awaited his call-up papers, he worked as a trawler deck-hand on Breadwinner, out of Lowestoft. There were air raids on Japanese installations and in support of 14th Army operations.
