For sale is a WW2 Signed D-Day Message Third Edition 1944 Book Titled “The Little Ships” by Gordon Holman. This has a hand written message in by the author and it states; “D Day June 6th 1944, To Mary, the day we began to make the ‘V’ sign a fact and not a promise! With all good wishes, Gordon Holman.” This book is an early account of the work of the Royal Navy's Coastal Forces, the Motor Launches, Motor Torpedo Boats and Motor Gun Boats based at the south and east coast ports of the British Isles and venturing out into the enemy held Narrow Seas off the coast of Europe.
