These are a named pair of South Staffs Regiment, wartime gloves. Each glove bears the printed tailor's name label, for a Private Genner. The vet joined the Army in the 1950's and rose to the rank of Captain. These gloves are Army, wartime issue, but Genner had his personalised name labels sown into this pair. They have been well worn and are in need of repair, as clearly illustrated. Nevertheless, they still remain an interesting pair of gloves, to a distinguished South Staffs Regiment vet.
"WW2 South Staffs Regiment Army Gloves are an excellent fit for history enthusiasts, reenactors, or military collectors interested in authentic military equipment."
