Found among a file of research material that I purchased relating to the Wolf’s Lair, this photograph was found. An original Heinrich Hoffmann photograph of an entry gate at the Wolfs-Lair (The Eastern HQ of AH). The information on the rear of this photograph reads 5432 FHQ - Wolfschanze Guard 1 in front of the entrance to the restricted circle of the Führer headquarters. Heinrich Hoffman was the personal photographer of AH. Contact was made with the Bundesarchiv about this photograph, however they couldn’t give me any information other than what I already knew. This photograph is an extremely rare example of Hoffmann’s work, and would enhance any military collection. This photograph is sold as historically significant and does not follow or support any ideology.
