This is a YZ Henry Howell type tagua nut, phenolic pakelite and wood Bird shaped Bridge Suit Marker dating from the 1930's. the wood is striated anc possibly mahogany but is not signed. The bird moves by hand to indicate which suit is in play by pointinc with its beak and talhis novel Art Deco era item wil appeal to both card players, collectors of YZ ware and bakelite collectors alike.
