An original 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal awarded to 4159 Pte H Dalby of the 18th Hussars. Harold Dalby was born in 1891 at Leeds. He was a pre war regular soldier and in the 1911 Census, can be seen serving with the 18th Hussars in Tidworth. He proceeded to France with the 18th Hussars in August 1914. At some stage he was promoted to L/Cpl. Harold was discharged from the army in April 1919. Please see photos for condition.
