A Jacobite powder horn with incised decoration that reads; ‘A blacker horn ye do not Ken’ ‘Dubhglas Grant my masters name’ ‘1723 Dubhglas Grante’ . Oak cap and brass and carved bone stopper. This was hand made by me about 20 years ago and copied from various powder horns in museums and also I think from the book ‘The Sword and the Sorrows.’ Made from black cow horn, oak and brass. Not another one like it….. anywhere!
