An attractive WW2 Military door plaque. Made of pressed tin, this plaque has clearly been used and removed from a door, probably as a souvenir of the Pacific War. It would have been affixed to the front entrance of a home to signify the residence of a veteran member of the Imperial Japanese Military. The main emblem consists of the Army Star and Naval Anchor with chain and two crossed swords. The two rows of Kanji translate as follows: "Imperial Veteran's Association. Honorary Member". The plaque dimensions are: 2.25 ins x 5.75 ins. Item does have paint loss and scratching conducive to its age and use. THANKS FOR LOOKING
