SSH -40 Soviet Bloc Hungarian steel dark green military helmet. Post war refurbishment (early 50’s) replaced canvas chinstrap with leather. 3 canvas pouch liners, 6 rivets - 2 to front, 1 each side and 2 at back. In good condition. Unusual piece as the helmet has been painted with cargo cult insignia most likely for use in a film or theatrical production.
