The PMEK (Personal IED & Mine Extraction Kit) is a compact lightweight kit designed especially for all NATO personnel to carry at all times when travelling or operating in areas where mines and IEDs (improvised explosive devices) are a risk. The kit comprises of a non-magnetic scraper, variable length non-magnetic mine prodder, 25 coloured marker pegs, 30 small chemical light sticks (clippable to marker pegs), an informative aide memoire and trip wire feeler. All items pack neatly into a Genuine Multicam MOLLE belt pouch which is compatible with all known MOLLE/PALS systems - including Osprey and latest issue load carrying assault vests (LCTV etc).
