Beautiful piece measuring some 178mm, with the main tab of the bracelet being around 22mm. It bears the Army Air Corps winged shield insignia on the front. The catch on the strap functions well. Marked 'Forstner 1/20 12Kt GF' on the reverse. This denoted 12 karat, gold filled. Often pieces like this were engraved with the name of the airman but I suspect given the size of this one, it is a sweetheart piece, purchased for wives and girlfriends either in the States, or sent home from Europe.
