NOTE--THE DECAL ISN'T REAL!- Original WW2 German M42 Steel Helmet Shell Relic Eastern Europe combat relic. I've had this many years. I used to know the battle of where it came from but, have forgotten a long time ago. All I know is that it was somewhere in Eastern Europe. It's in pretty sound condition, the edges are a bit worn and a partial liner ring still present. If you wanted to run a filler over it and paint it, it would be a good project but I have always liked it as it is. The decal looks cool but isn't genuine. it can easily be removed by wetting. I have a spare decal too, again, not genuine but the helmet is totally genuine. I'm selling off my collections. anything you want me to pop on ebay, let me know.
