Trench art plate from the 1st of October 1918 with Damascus. Has Judaica Yiddish inscription around the edge (I can only make out 1918 clearly). The star of David is the central icon. Made of Brass and small size so wither a small plate or even an ash tray. The link with Lt Col T.E.Lawrence is he with his Arabian army took Damascus on this date. Likely made by a local or even a British Soldier as they came to Damascus also.
