Trench art plate from the 1st of October 1918 with Damascus. Central script is 'Allah' in Arabic. Made of Brass and small size so wither a small plate or even an ash tray. The link with Lt Col T.E.Lawrence is he with his Arabian army took Damascus on this date. Likely made by a local or even a British Soldier as they came to Damascus also.
