The Devonshire Regiment was an infantry regiment who served during WW1. The eight pointed star design with the King’s Crown at the top has a central circle with the inscription “The Devonshire Regiment “ . In the centre of the circlet ,the Castle of Exeter with the regimental motto “SEMPER FIDELIS” (Always faithful) underneath.
